When growing your business online and using social media, there are actually some things you need to be aware of!

It seemed simple enough when I was starting out to use Facebook to get the word out that I was starting a new business!

It was the only platform that I was using at the time and I had a little less than 200 friends.

If you are going to launch a new business utilizing Facebook, I suggest you learn the Pitfalls to Avoid BEFORE diving in.

If you're a reader and learner type like me, checkout this guide “Staying out of Facebook Jail“.

You really should be aware that when you use Facebook as your business front, you are putting your business into the hands of another owner.

I had witnessed other marketers' whose Facebook Account was shut down for 1 week or even for 1 year.  I had not experienced it myself until THIS happened.

What does that mean?  Well, let me tell you what happened to me.Avoid Facebook Jail

I was getting ready to launch my business by creating a post on Facebook to reach my audience.

The response that I received was overwhelming!

With comments >700 to respond to, I started reaching out to provide requested information to those who were interested.
Wanna see the post that sent me into Facebook Jail???  Lol, I'm happy to share it with ya!

After about sending out information through private messenger to about 50+ people, Facebook proceeded to shut down my messenger.

I could no longer reach out to people.

In a nutshell, my Business was shut down as if the lights in the shop were on but the front door was locked!  I cannot tell you the frustration I felt.

Luckily, I was able to redirect my audience to my blog to distribute the requested information.

I placed my post directly on my blog and was able to continue to keep my shop open.
